ABOUT

CAST
PEARL DLOMO
(Played by NOMSA TWALA) is a black, 22 year old aspiring actress with wild dreams and a gentle heart. Raised in the wealthier parts of South Africa, Pearl carries with her- the 'burden of privilege.
She needs to learn that guilt should never be a reason for altruism, therefore she must embrace the virtue of 'selfishness' She is the lead actress (Protagonist) in the film.
SIBU THUKELA
(Played by LIYABONGA TOTYI) is a 20 year old black- 'city local'. The term city local is used to encompass her street smart character and social preference. Sibu's natural independence lead her to adopt the city streets as her playground, she has immersed herself in the music, art and fashion culture of the Maboneng district. She grew up in Northcliff but suffered a massive disconnect with her parents after their divorce.
She is Pearl's best friend, this friendship took some years for trust to be earned.
